Happy Halloween Everyone....Im so excited for tonight!!! Alyssa is gonna have so much fun. Me, Alyssa and Grandma are going out to a Grace's house where there will be hundreds of kids trick or treating. Alyssa is "Supergirl" this year, she wanted to be "Bob the Builder", and I think from now on I will just let her be whatever she wants to be at Halloween. She looks so cute in her costume!!! Oct 30 ~ Tila Tuesdays.....
OMG, Just got done watching Tila. Southern Gentleman gone nuts!!! Ashley (country guy on show)is frickin crazy. I sure didnt expect that coming, I mean I know he was hurt cause he got eliminated, but he didnt have to show out like that!! He is right about one thing, as Tila is watching this show air she will see these people for who they really are....I think she will end up picking a girl in the end, and then it wont work out, and then we will be watching Tila 2 next season..lol. Im a reality show junkie so of course I will be watching :)
Giving Thanks~ Today has been a good day, and I am very thankful for that. Im glad that I was able to take Alyssa to the Halloween Festival at Kroger this evening. I know she wont remember it when she is older, but it makes me so happy to be able to take her these events and watch her have so much fun. Her smile makes me smile. I am also thankful for my Aunt Brenda & Uncle Ron for taking care of my 2 youngest sisters. My siblings are my life, and I dont know what I would do if they hadnt stepped in when they did. I am truly grateful for them. Love you guys!!

Oct 29 ~ Inspiration
Hello - I hope all is well with everyone. I am doing good. Today was a lazzzyy day!! I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed within these past 2 weeks, so Im still trying to recover. I'm not so sure that drinking this past weekend was a good idea for the recovery process?? Anyways, Im looking for a new job at the moment, I just want something M-F normal hours so I can spend time with Alyssa.
I changed my mind about my carrer choice, I am going to be a dental assistant, its about half the time of the other courses and half the price. Which is good for me. I think I might be grossed out at first looking at peoples mouths all day, but I will get used to it :)
Ok now about my inspiration for doing this blog.......okay, so I started to be a "wanna-be computer savvy" person about a year and a half ago after getting into the whole myspace addiction thing, I learned how to make layouts and all that fun stuff, I dont know html well, but i know basic things. I became intrerested in that when I saw http://www.bestmyspacegoodies.com/ . The girl who runs the site, Ashley, she was 16 or 17 at the time and had her own website, which was just amazing, I mean her work is incredible. Very talented!!! Ok so for the past year I would keep track of her new sites such as http://www.profileglam.com/, http://www.cutequotegraphics.com/, and her personal blog http://www.thiscomplicatedlife.com/ . She started lifecasting about 2 months ago on http://www.justin.tv/ , which I think is the coolest thing ever. It's kinda weird cause you sit there watching random people in their every day lives, and you think to yourself.." gosh, I have no life " lol. But anyways that brought more inspiration to me, these people ( who are younger than me ) are out here making a living online with their websites, I should be doing the same. I would love to be a lifecaster, but its just not possible at this time, but I can make my own website, which is where I am now. Still in the very beginning process, but it will be a success soon!! I cant exactly figure out what my site should be about, so for now it will just be me blogging about my everyday life, the beauty and struggle of being a single mother, and my journey to a new body and a healthy lifestyle. So, in closing this post...I just want to say thank you to Ashley!! You don't know me but I feel like I sorta know you..lol, you are truly an inspiration to myself and many more. I ♥ your work!!!!!!!

Today has been a pretty good day I guess, of course waking up to my daughter each day is a blessing in its self, so let me rephrase that....Today has been a BEAUTIFUL day. Many days I find myself taking things for granted, whether it be my daughter, family, friends or even just having a roof over my head, it doesn't take much when the day to day things overwhelm you to the point that you forget to stop and think how lucky we are just to be alive. So.....today I am taking an oath, with you all as my witness...I Felicia, promise to take a few moments each day and give thanks for all I am blessed with. I will close each blog with those thanks each day.
Okay, let me formally introduce myself. My name is Felicia, I am a 25 year old single mother of a beautiful 3 year old little girl, Alyssa, who is the best thing that has ever happened to me. My mother raised me as a single parent, and if I might say, she did a great job, so being a single mother myself doesn't really bother me. I am the oldest of 5 kids, ages 25(me) all the way to a 5 year old sister...next to my daughter, my siblings are my world, I would do anything in my power for them. Like everyone else, I have dreams. My dream in life is to be a Make-Up Artist, and I mean like doing make-up for Oprah or Julia Roberts...yeah I want to be big time. I will set that dream aside for now so that I can be involved with my daughter the way I know would be impossible if I was working for Oprah or Julia. When Alyssa is older I will get back to my dreams. For now, I will continue working toward being the best mother I know I can be. I want to go back to school within the next 3 months. I will either take a Massage Therapy, or an Esthetician(skin care specialist) course. Both of those are less than a year long training, and I can also make my own hours doing either, which is a plus. Still trying to decide on which one to choose though...I'm thinking that doing massages could pose problems such as arthritis or something like that. I will def keep you guys updated though. Well...I think I will close for the day, I'm sleepy now...I do want to thank you for checking me out, I will post daily with my day to day life, it will be different than this post, I just wanted you to know a little about me for my first blog :) Thx again & Goodnight!!
